26.2 Miles of the New York City Marathon (in photos)

Nov 9, 2013 | Marathon Majors, Marathon Majors, Running | 8 comments

I feel like the London marathon passed by in a blur of miles, faces, feet and signs, and I didn’t want that to happen during the New York Marathon. I made a conscious effort to look around as I ran, taking it all in and snapping photos at least every mile. I promise this is nearly the last NYCM post I’ll share, but for now, here are my favourite photos from each mile…

what a great idea! loved all the pics. I’m impressed, I feel like I’d be too tired to take pics at every mile.

This is a work of art. Next year’s Turner Prize is yours! I’d like to try to do something similar but think I’d be too delirious around mile 20 to remember.

I’m so impressed you even managed to carry a camera with you for 26.2 miles and remember to take a photo each mile. All the races I’ve done I don’t really remember things about them, which I especially regret with Royal Parks. Such a good idea!
