An Addition to my Daily Routine

Mar 24, 2013 | Uncategorized | 1 comment

There is something new that I have added to my morning routine…

6.45- alarm goes
6.50- snooze alarm goes
6.51- sign up for a gym class on my phone app
Sounds a bit odd, right? At my new gym you have to sign up for classes in advance, and these are released a week in advance. Obviously the popular ones fill up quickly so I need to get in there fast!
I have been trying to sign up for about 2-3 Pilates classes a week, as well as a Spinning Class and two Weights classes. By scheduling the classes into my diary, I am more likely to stick to them, however it can be a bit frustrating if I have to cancel a class if something comes up, and can’t reschedule as the other classes are fully booked!
As you can see I have a ‘Programme Design Session’ next week, I am hoping to speak to the trainer about my 10K training plan, to see what they think before I share it with you guys! I also know that bikini season is about 10 weeks away and I am NOT ready yet! Hoping to get some more toning up tips from the trainer too!
I haven’t been feeling too well  this weekend, but last night was a friend’s birthday, so I got my glad rags on and headed out to dinner to celebrate with her. I got this dress in the Mango sale, it is so comfortable! I am currently going through a ‘I hate everything in my wardrobe’ phase, and am looking forward to having a big spring clean over the bank holiday next weekend, to see what I actually have/need!
I hope you’re having a great weekend. Do you have to sign up for your gym classes in advance or just turn up? My old gym you could just turn up and it was first come, first served. My classes at the new gym are much smaller, which means more personal attention- amazing in my Pilates classes!

While it can be a hassle to have to sign up for classes every week, it also has a certain convenience in case there are scheduling conflicts with work or other events. I see that you do mat and Swiss ball Pilates. If I may ask, have you tried apparatus classes? Thanks for sharing, Charlie!
