I’ve got a long, long list of restaurants and cafes in London (and the rest of the World) that I want to eat brunch at. On Saturday I ticked one that’s been on the list for a while, The Good Life Eatery in Chelsea.

I’d been warned that there’s usually a bit of a queue on a weekend morning, but we didn’t have to wait too long to grab a seat however this is not the sort of place that I’d bring Tom- he would find it far too chaotic and wouldn’t understand the healthy vibe. With that said, for those that want to try one of their awesome smoothies, the slightly stressful ordering area is well worth it. Takeaway could be a really good option, especially for their cold pressed juices.

I’d finished my final 10 miler before Berlin that morning, so was pretty hungry but the time I met Ej and Loz. I really wanted to try one of the smoothies, so added some extra protein and granola to my Pink Panther smoothie. It’s basically a mix of strawberries, raspberries, rice milk, avocado, gluten free oats, baobab powder- it tasted like ice-cream!

The menu isn’t huge, but there are options for every dietary requirement. I was actually a little worried that they wouldn’t be serving coffee! The girls both chose Avocado and chilli on toast- next time we’ll add poached eggs, plus a side of sweet potato and dukka dip to share. So delicious.

Both Loz and I had first heard about The Good Life Eatery having spotted it on Millie Mackintosh’s instagram account, so it felt very appropriate to spot her enjoying breakfast there! I highly recommend a trip to here for a healthy brekkie or lunch, rather than an indulgent brunch. I can’t wait to return to try a cold pressed juice and a bowl of acai with granola.

It’s nice to see healthy lifestyle being promoted! If only more people would realize the importance of the food they are consuming
